Stepping Into Fall

Family reading books together outdoors in autumn with mountains in the background.

Fall Foundations Overview

The Fall Foundations Program provides weekly 1:1 instruction in both phonics and math basics. Each session is tailored to your child’s level, pacing, and learning style. This program is ideal for early readers, children who need extra confidence in foundational skills, and homeschool families seeking consistent, expert support.

Your child receives individualized instruction using a mastery‑based approach that builds strong reading and math foundations — the skills that make everything else in school easier.

Phonics using CORE and Storybooks

Your child will receive structured, sequential phonics instruction using the CORE Teaching Manual and corresponding Storybooks.

• Phonemic awareness

• Decoding and blending

• Spelling and dictation practice

• Reading and Comprehension Questions

• High‑frequency word mastery

Each lesson is paced individually so your child moves forward with confidence.

Math Basics Made Easy!

Math support focuses on strengthening early numeracy and building a solid foundation for later grades.  Math Basics manual required.

Skills include:

• Addition and Subtraction using Base 10

• Multiplication Facts using Skip Counting, 9’s Rule and Memorization chart

• Pennies, Nickels and Dimes used as rewards, to be traded for dollars at the end of each lesson

• Early multiplication concepts

• Word problem strategies

Instruction is hands‑on, visual, and designed to build confidence.

Teaching Approach

Your child will experience a warm, structured, and engaging learning environment. Instruction is:

• Mastery‑based — we move forward only when skills are solid

• Multi‑sensory — tapping, writing, building, reading

• Movement‑friendly — short breaks and kinesthetic learning when helpful

• Individualized — every lesson is tailored to your child’s level

• Confidence‑building — success is built into every session

Scheduling Options

Sessions are offered once or twice weekly, depending on your child’s needs.  Pick days and times that will work consistently for your family.
