Welcome Homeschoolers!

I offer daytime sessions that keep learning calm and consistent. Many families find their children focus best earlier in the day and I'm happy to offer times starting at 11am to fit your families schedules.

I am certified by Mary Schuler, the Founder of this program and all materials. Mary's site is ParentReadingCoach.org and she is also founder of Education Plus Health, a current multi-million-dollar company.  I am certified to teach her curriculum to age 4-Adult in Phonics, Basic Math Skills and Fractions.  

I also have extensive work-related experience working in Manchester, CT public schools in their Reading Resource Room and substituting on a regular schedule.  After moving to NH, I worked for SAU16 serving Exeter and Stratham elementary school as a Substitute Teacher.

I work with children throughout the Mt. Washington Valleu, offering a warm, encouraging space where learning feels safe and achievable. My goal is simply to help your child thrive and help your homeschool days feel lighter!

I appreciate that all children learn differently, and what works for one may not work with another.  I like to incorporate methods, thinking outside the box, to make learning fun and different.  Taking spelling tests on the driveway with sidewalk chalk or digging colorfully painted shells in a sand box with consonant blends written on them are examples.

I'm happy to provide periodic progress reports as your curriculum requires, whether it be weekly, monthly or quarterly.  

I also have standard Reading Assessment tests for grades 3-12 if you'd like these used.  

I'm happy to incorporate materials you're using with my CORE and Mastery Textbooks and accompanying Collections of Storybooks.  The two go hand-in-hand in progression of material covered in each lesson.  They have been used for over 50 years by Mary, the founder.. in tutoring, charter schools and in her teaching courses at Universities using her methods.
